世界公平貿易日

每年5月第二個週六是世界公平貿易日，台灣在今年的5月9日舉行第二屆慶祝活動，並首度展開國際串連，同時向世界傳達一項重大訊息：
國際公平貿易協會（International Federation of Alternative Trade，IFAT）
於2008年正式改名為WFTO（World Fair Trade Organization）。

「Big Bang - Beat！為世界而鼓噪」是這次活動的主題，
由此延伸的是公平貿易內在三個核心概念：打擊貧窮、氣候變遷、經濟危機。
BIG BANG!! something (anything) with spoons, sticks, hands, fingers, friends, family, neighbours, a crowd, an audience, a solution. Beat poverty beat climate change beat economic crisis.
